Soup of the day — żurek

Lucky enough I was travelling again to visit our sales representative in Poland. After talking business we have had dinner together and as usual there is a soup for starter.

As I am a soup lover I am always delighted by having new tastes and different kinds of ingreadients. The żurek is in my opinion one of the best soups which can be find basically anywhere in Poland.

It is a soup made of fermented rye with some hard boiled eggs and saussages.

There are plenty of receipts available in the internet. It is very easy to make but as the fermentation needs some time — you may shall plan it in.
